Examples of medical transcription - such transcription is usually set out in a report format and of course the actual format can vary according to job requirements and specifications. You may be given a template to work from and fill in.

Alternatively you may be typing a consultation report for a specialist who will then write a letter back to the referring doctor explaining the outcome of that patient's visit. So in this instance the medical transcription is set out in a basic letter format.
