It's so nice to be able to cut costs and find free voice transcription software when setting up your virtual assistant business or home based secretarial and transcription business.
Always check out anything free to make sure it meets your needs. The particular free transcription software platform may have everything you need, so that's great, or you may need something more, hence purchasing a transcription software instead. Having said that free doesn't mean it's not good either.

has a great platform called Express Scribe and it's free to use. It is user friendly and easy to install and use and their customer service is excellent. I actually use this platform for all my transcription of audio files.
