Hi Jay being a medical transcription course graduate is great, but not sure if you have actual transcription experience too, even if it's not in the medical field. This helps too as being a proficient transcriber and knowledge of a particular field are two different things. You have to have a good ear for speakers and accents and be a fast typist. And there are other skills that experienced transcribers pick up that I mention in my transcription section of my site. Anyway on my www.virtual-assistant-advice.com/home_transcription_companies.html page I list global transcription companies that use home based transcribers and a lot of companies I list outsource medical transcription work. You can try contacting these companies to see if they will give you a trial to do some work for them. If they like your work output you can gain a client or two that way.
