Hi and thanks for your questions about finding virtual assistant work in India. There are many virtual assistants based in India who have clients both within India and globally around the world.
I have in the past come across some legitimate work from home sites that are based in India and they may be able to assist you to find clients.
But please have a good look around this site (I'm the site owner) as I talk about the many avenues of finding clients in your VA business. Yes you can find clients online, but you can also find clients in many many other ways.
So just to be clear, you asked about a VA 'job' in your question. A virtual assistant runs a business as a self employed person, so a VA is looking for clients, not a 'job' as such. A VA is not an employee.
There are however a lot of firms setting up business in India where they have 'in house VAs' in a 'call centre' scenario. They too call themselves VAs and I guess these firms would employ you as a VA working out of one office with a group of other VAs. In these situations I guess a VA would be looking for a 'job' to be employed in one of these firms. There are several websites around on such Indian based companies, but I can't remember any off the top of my head. I'm sure if you Google Indian VAs and similar keywords you will find such websites.
But being a self employed VA would guarantee you a higher income I would imagine, but such places would be a good place to start I guess and to gain some experience as a VA.
