Virtual assistant name suggestions

make your own button

Well there are many factors to sift through during the important virtual assistant name suggestions phase for your business.

Are my virtual assistant name suggestions already taken as a business name?

First you have to make sure that no one else is using the same business name that you wish to use. There are government websites in each country to help you do a search on business names to see if they are taken already.

Australia at www.search.asic.gov.au.
New Zealand at www.companies.govt.nz/cms
Canada at Business Start up Assistant Canada
For US US Small Business Administration and check the secretary of states for the state that you plan to incorporate a name in. Or for sole proprietors check for local assumed names with the county clerk.
For UK National Business Register Plc

If you are in another country, you may already be aware of your relevant website or call your local government department to find out. I do apologise, I just can't list them all.

Are my virtual assistant name suggestions already taken as a domain name?

Same as above, if you are setting up a website you have to make sure that no one else is using the same domain name that you wish to use. Use www.domain.com to search if a domain name is already taken or not. I am not endorsing this site, I'm just demonstrating one of many sites that assist you in this area.

Are my virtual assistant name suggestions trademarked?

Check out if a specific word or words are actually trademarked in your country, thereby not allowing you to use those words. You do not want to violate any trademark or copyright laws. You may also not be allowed to use a name that is similar to an existing business.

Coming up with a name

Ok so coming up with an appropriate name use the following as a guide:

. Short and sharp and attractive
. Meaningful name, tells people what you do
. Easy to spell
. Unique, descriptive and "You"

And if using your business name in a domain name:

. Include your business concept name in the domain name, ie: you are a virtual assistant, so I believe it's best to use these words in your site domain name, which would probably be your business name as well, so that search engine spiders can better find you when people look for a virtual assistant and the other word or words in your domain/business name are for your human and offline visitors' benefit.

. A virtual assistant is global, and ending your domain name in .com, .net and .org are by far the best regarded by surfers.

. Use dashes in your domain name if you have three or more words in your domain name. They make the word breaks more obvious to the eye and engines view the dashes as a space anyway.

Have fun creating your very own business name.
